Cumberland Movement Connection
In this multi level class we will go over the basic fundamentals and also more advanced movements. The class size will be limited to enable to teach to different levels. Classes will start with a warm up and conclude with a cool down.
Some practice fans will be available for use. Please indicate when registering if you require practice fans.
Class is 1 hour with 30 mins after to work on anything that anyone needs focused attention with. (so if you need to be done at 9 you won't be missing anything)
Cost is $150 for the session
Sorry class will be limited to pre-registered students only, no drop-ins.

Come learn the beautiful art of fire fan dancing while building community and getting a really great upper body work out
Classes consist of getting to know your prop and becoming technically proficient before adding fire.

Silk Fans 101
Thursdays 6:30 pm - 7:45pm
November 3rd - December 8th
Cumberland Movement Connection
Learn the basics of contemporary silk fan dance. In this class we will learn the techniques of silk fans and fuse dance into our movements. We will start with basic techniques such as hits and flutters building towards group work and choreography.
This will be an 6 week class with no drop-ins as we will be building on concepts each week.
I do have a few extra sets of fans but please bring your own if you have them making sure to have both a right handed and left handed fan. Moonlight & Magic offers sparkle and sizzle as a festive kick off!
Downtown Courtenay's much anticipated annual kick off to the festive season is coming up Friday November 18th!
